Therapy is an opportunity to invest in oneself. Our energy tends to be extended towards our relationships with others, our expectations and our fears. This tends to leave us feeling depleted and struggling to manage everyday emotions, feelings and behaviors. When were not focused on ourself we start to give the power away rather than utilize our power to tackle the obstacles that present themselves in our path. I believe every individual has the power to change and improve their overall quality of life. My goal is to foster an environment where you can safely and freely explore, expand and grow into your most authentic version of yourself. We will work collaboratively to identify areas that need your investment, we will develop strategies for growth and give you back the power to manage the issues of today and tomorrow.
I attended Point Park University where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science and a minor in psychology. I completed my master’s in Counseling Psychology from Chatham University and received my credential as a licensed professional counselor. I have experience treating individuals across the lifespan with diverse backgrounds in outpatient, community, academic and in-home settings. My clinical experience includes working closely with individuals whom are living with severe and persistent mental health disorders, behavioral problems, learning and intellectual disabilities, mood disorders, members of the LGBTQI community, trauma, abuse, adult survivors of sexual abuse and drug and alcohol dependency.
